Is a vitamin shot the same as an IV drip?
No. A vitamin shot is a small injection into a muscle that takes moments to give, while an IV drip runs fluid into a vein over a much longer session. MeliOra does not offer IV drips or infusions, only quick shots given by Dr. Espinet herself.
Is a vitamin injection better than a supplement?
Not always. An injection skips the digestive tract, which matters most when your body has trouble absorbing a nutrient, as with some B12 deficiencies. If your absorption is normal, an oral supplement may be enough. Dr. Espinet can help you weigh the two.
